This blog is about splitboarding and occasionally telemark skiing because these are things that I think are rad and inexpensive ways to access the backcountry. Because they are more dirtbag ways of getting around the mountains, they embody a Do It Yourself attitude and simplicity that has always fascinated me.

Ventured up into Hyalite on the last day before the road closure with a couple of buddies.
